What purpose does Foto Friday have in this site? It is one thing to find and highlight wonderful images. However, if all you see is a nice image, then we have only begun. This week, I want to offer an image and then invite you to follow a link to a wonderful article that leads us deeper into using imagery for spiritual growth.

In the article below, Ken Hagler describes what he calls “Lectio Visual.” It is a process you can use to listen more deeply to the power of the image.

I appreciate the way he translates the Lectio Divina steps of read, reflect, respond, rest, and return into look, linger, led, lay, live.
